What a fantastic read! This story was flawless. The characters are well developed and so exciting they walk right off the page. There is scorching sex and a connection between Jazz and Connor "Rock" that is undeniable. The story line is action packed with shifters, paranormal factions, planet saving inventions, bounty hunters, and even a special ops team. The author writes with style and she makes it easy for the reader to dive into her world. I am enamored of this author. When she writes about daemons, wizards, vampires and fae from an alternate dimension, you aren't skeptical at all! The stories are so smooth and developed, your psyche can't find a place where it doesn't make sense.
Jazz, in the middle of a fire-fight, comes face to face with a wizard who has a mission for her. She needs to protect a highly intelligent business man from the ones who would sully his inventions to their own devices.

My name's Conner - although some people call me Rock, for obvious reasons. When The Seven went to ground I came here to Florida. A little fun in the sun, a whole lot of willing female tourists to bed, and guys itching to be trained for MMA.
I'll admit it was getting a little boring. Then she showed up. Jazz Boudreaux. Five foot ten inches of bad ass, bounty hunter, warrior woman. I figured to have her in my bed inside of 24 hours and then move on to whoever was next in line.
Only Jazz isn't just a random woman who has appeared in my life. She was sent to find me. To protect me. Seems like there are people who'd like to take what's mine and are willing to kill to get it.
Now, with a nick-name like Rock and my Shifter abilities, I'm pretty sure I can take care of myself. But she doesn't seem to think so. And as it turns out Jazz is more than just a bounty hunter turned body guard.
She's more like me that either of us realized and maybe that explains the attraction. Or maybe it's something else. Whatever it is, one (or a few) samples of her is not enough. I'm developing a real taste for Jazz.

Holy Smokes Catman!!!! After reading book 3 in The Seven series I found out that a shifter is hotter than a Vampire and Angel put together....sorry Agustus and Gabriel. Connor, aka R C Burns or Rock, is shifter leader of The Seven in Colorado but relocated to Florida when The Seven went to ground. Now co owner of a gym and trainer in MMA he doesn't let on about his genius scientific mind or his inventions. His life is hum drum until she walks into the gym and has an affect no other ever has. Jazz Bordeaux is a bounty hunter / bodyguard on a mission to protect MIT dweeb R C Burns until he completes his scientific project that can save the world as we know it. Needing to work out to keep her fighting form she enters a gym and the vision she sees freezes her where she stands. The chemistry between these two is explosive at first sight. Jazz has a sixth sense that helps with her job and is shocked when she finds that her dweeb is none other than Rock himself. This is where the adventure really begins, hot sex, Vampires, Daemons, Wizzards, Shifters, cheating ex, kidnapping and a whole lot more. This is a page turner from beginning to the end. I love this series and the fact it has his and her POV with no cliffhanger but you definitely want to read the next book. Ciana Stone definitely knows how to draw you into her books and leave you going...WOW. I have never been disappointed with any of Ciana's books and once you read one you will want more.Thank You Ciana Stone!!!

I really like the flow of this book, however there were some typographical errors. And what is the name of the next book after this one
Kick-a$$ paranormal heroine, sexy shifter hero who also happens to be a real genius, what more do you want? Short book in the world of the Seven. Continues the story from the first two books, but with less recurrence of the familiar characters from the previous books.
Each book in The Seven series focuses on one couple and their HEA. However, the books build on each other and should be read in order to get the full enjoyment out of the series.
Jazz is a bounty hunter and sometimes bodyguard. She knows there are more than humans around but does her best to stay out of that world. Until that world comes to her.
Book 3 in the Seven series. This is the first I've read in the series. Not a fan of starting in the middle of a series but this was an awesome story. I love the world she has created, all of the characters were interesting and unique, and the plot line was captivating. Both the continuing one and the one for this book.

A Taste for Jazz was a good book about a woman named Jazz who is a bounty hunter and part time body guard. While completing what should have been a routine bounty case she gets transported to another house and is assigned a new body guard position by Danu. She has to protect R. E. Burns, a scientist who is inventing something that could destroy humanity. When she meets him and discovers he is her assignment she's a little taken back because he isn't a geek who can't fight. She ends up falling in love pretty much at first sight.
This story was really sweet, adventurous, and a little steamy here and there. There are also shape shifters and vampires as well as other mythical beings which gives it a different spin on things. It is very fast paced but it kept my attention. I really liked it and would recommend it.

This is my second book of Ciana Stones in this series, with one more still to read. This book follows on from Book 2 - Ruffle My Feathers. It’s about Connor, or Rock as he goes by. He’s a Shifter scientist, gifted and wanted.
Jazz is also gifted, working as a Bounty Hunter or Bodyguard. Discovering more about herself over the story as she is recruited by a Wizard - Stanzia; to be Rock’s minder, bodyguard. ) Despite the fact that he is one huge solid male Shifter. Jazz agrees to the task after the Wizard gives her a view of their possible future world.
Under the brief guise of a Gym employee, Jazz and Connor form a relationship, where each opens up to the other about themselves and their lives to date. Their chemistry is full on and fun, as they give into their mutual desire and the pull.
After believing Jazz he contacts the rest of the group we have met in previous books. As they re group to resolve the problem at hand.
It’s a great read, full of action both erotic, exciting and fun. With a little news added in on the characters from the previous two books. I found it brought back memories of Book 2 and reminded me I’ve yet to read Book 1. ) At the same time I will eagerly await more on these characters, as the overall story is far from over! )
